Posted on 02 June 2009 by adminjoliber

Senator Manny Villar topped the recent Social Weather Station (SWS) Survey.

Despite of being accused of getting big sum of money on the C-5 road extension project, Villar had a 22% approval rating on the SWS survey for 2010 Election. This was conducted from April 16 and May 6, 2009, almost 1 year to go before the next election.

The SWS result is as follow:

  1. Senator Manuel Villar - 22%
  2. Vice President Noli “Kabayan”  de Castro - 18%
  3. Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero - 14%
  4. Former President Joseph Estrada - 14%
  5. Senator Loren Legarda - 10%
  6. Senator Manuel Roxas - 9%
  7. Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson - 6%
  8. Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay - 2%
  9. MMDA Chairman Bayani Fernando - 1%

Asked about the recent SWS result, former Congressman Gilbert Remulla, Villar’s Nacionalista Party said, “No comment but we find the result accurate and reflective of our own survey. We have our survey done periodically but we do it for internal use”.

It is just but natural for Manny Villar to top the latest opinion surveys since he’s obviously the biggest spender nowadays on infommercials. Baka mga pati mga ITIK boboto na rin sa kanya.
