Vice President Noli &#8220;Kabayan&#8221; De Castro is still on top for the 2010 Election Presidential race based on the survey conducted by Pulse Asia Inc last month. De Castro managed to get 18% out of 1,200 adults interviewed by Pulse Asia.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Senator Manny Villar</strong> topped the recent Social Weather Station (SWS) Survey.</p>
<p>Despite of being accused of getting big sum of money on the C-5 road extension project, Villar had a 22% approval rating on the SWS survey for 2010 Election. This was conducted from April 16 and May 6, 2009, almost 1 year to go before the next election.<span id="more-3"></span></p>
<p>The SWS result is as follow:</p>

<li>Vice President Noli &#8220;Kabayan&#8221;  de Castro - 18%</li>
<li>Senator Francis &#8220;Chiz&#8221; Escudero - 14%</li>
<li>Former President Joseph Estrada - 14%</li>
<li>Senator Loren Legarda - 10%</li>
<li>Senator Manuel Roxas - 9%</li>
<li> Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson - 6%</li>
<li>Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay - 2%</li>
<li>MMDA Chairman Bayani Fernando - 1%</li>
</ol>
<p>Asked about the recent SWS result, former Congressman Gilbert Remulla, Villar&#8217;s Nacionalista Party said, “No comment but we find the result accurate and reflective of our own survey. We have our survey done periodically but we do it for internal use”.</p>
